Your Store is a Brand, So Start Treating it Like One
Federal, Speer, CCI and RCBS are all brands. Your store probably sells dozens of different brands like these from ammunition to rifles to clothing. Well, did you realize that your store is a brand, too? In fact, in terms of your bottom line, it is the most important brand you will deal with. What is a brand? In your case, a brand is how your store is perceived. What do your customers think of when they think of your store? Brands are about emotions not facts, and perceptions not reality. A brand is defined by every part of every experience your customers has with your store - inside and out. - That being said, consistency, obviously, is extremely important.
- Build your brand by getting your name out there.
- Display your name prominently in your advertising.
- Print your store's names on hats, t-shirts and jackets.
- This way your loyal customers can advertise your brand wherever they go.
Remember to develop a brand that hunters and shooters want to identify with and then get it out there. You'll be well on your to developing a strong and healthy brand.
